This is painting number 6 of 6. He also did some engravings of the series as well. Sort of like a type of political cartoons but without the snappy captions.

Here's a few clips of David Hockney's investigations into the camera obscura. A well-known British artist himself, Hockney has devoted a vast amount of time studying techniques of the masters and has recently caused quite a few arguments concerning the possible use of these techniques.
